I make small apps that do one thing, get out of the way, and stay free. No accounts, ads, subscriptions, or extra nonsense. Learn one and you know them all.

It tells you if it rains. You weren't going to interpret the rest anyway.

Blend elemental sounds for focus and rest with one direct gesture.
I couldn't choose between rain and a hair dryer. This is the compromise.
LESS CARDS
Keep loyalty and membership cards ready to scan. Nothing else gets in the way.
Put the barcode wherever you want. It still scans. Somehow.
LESS SCAN
Scan a product barcode and see the answer first, without an account or feed.
For people who don't know what any of this means. It says yes or no. Done.
LESS STRESS
A bounded, non-clinical Today estimate from the health signals on your iPhone.
Imagine paying for basic math. Other apps actually charge for this.
LESS AI
Ask a question and get an answer using Apple’s available models. Messages and titles stay local.
Apple can't give you Siri in the EU. Somehow, I can give you LESS AI.
LESS TAPE
A tactile recorder with a real waveform and direct controls. Recordings stay as local audio files.
Recordings are boring. I made them fun.

I'm Michael. I make the apps I want: small, useful, and free of clutter, ads, subscriptions, and charges for basic things. If an app needs an account before it does its one job, it has already asked for too much.
Things LESS will probably never have: accounts, subscriptions, ads, useless notifications, streaks, or anything else I hate. You probably hate it too, or you wouldn't be here.
Write for any reason.
Good app? Tell me. Bad app? Tell me why. If it sucks, there is a reason, and it can be improved. Want a LESS app? Tell me what it should do. If it is useful and fits the philosophy, I will make it for free.

LESS doesn't make me a cent. Keeping these apps running costs about as much as one app subscription. I'd rather pay that myself than make you pay for another app. It stays free: no ads, subscriptions, or purchases for basic features.
